Chances are good that I'll get it. The only way I won't is if someone from another hospital in CHW (Catholic Healthcare West) network applies who has more experience than I.
The techs who've been at my hospital longer don't want this particular position, so I'm not worried about them.
It'll be nice to get away from nights for a while. It really screws with the whole social life. You work all night, go home and sleep, wake up and get a few things done, then you're ready to go back to bed, wake up again and return to work. Sleep and work, that's all you really do.
