This check they took out about $111.
If I were to work the same number of hours, they'd only be taking an extra $166 (or so), which is acceptable by me.
It's just enough of a change that I'll notice it for a few checks, but it'll be about as irritating as a scratch... yes it's a change, but I'll live, kind of feeling.
Once I get used to the change, it'll be time for another payraise anyway... granted, it won't be that extra 6%, but it doesn't have to be.
Is it too horrible to be 36 and thinking about retirement?
