Spent the day in Old Sacramento with a co-worker yesterday.
I haven't been there since I was a kid; not like that, anyway. I mean, I've been there a couple of times, but not walking along the streets, going in the stores, checking out the museums, touring the riverboat, etc.
So yesterday was the first time in a long time.
I think I got a little sunburned.
I'd been wanting to return to the train museum since I was there as a kid.
Had dinner on the Delta King, then watched a show, a play called Art.
Saw a store that I need to take Cody to go shopping.
Took a river cruise. My coworker and I were saying that this area would be a good place to take my boat to play around in the river. It would. But I think it would be better if I could be able to take the waterways to get up there instead of towing the boat to one of their launch ramps. Of course, I'd have to take several days off, as I don't have a very fast boat, would need to stop for gas several times, and it would be better to do it over a several day period. That would be a cool little vacation. Take a tent, sleep on the river's edge.
Dinner of the Delta King is like going to a fancy restaurant. It's a good thing we weren't wearing jeans and Tee shirts. The four-course meal was pretty good, but my steak was a little more rare than medium rare. Overall, a good dinner.
Okay, that's enough of your time wasted.
