They make an underwater housing for my digital camera.
I would love to get into some under-water photography.
But, it's $1000. That's more than the camera cost me.
I bought the camera when it was still almost $900, now it's down to $600.
On top of that, the housing blocks the built-in flash (which isn't really located in an ideal position, anyway).
You almost always need a flash when doing under-water photography.
So, they sell a seperate flash unit for the housing.
It, too, is $1000.

I had forgotten how expensive photography can be... probably because I've had most of my equipment for so long, that I forgot how much I spent way back when.

I guess I won't be getting underwater equipment for a while.
