It still hasn't gone away. I couldn't tell if it was a caffeine headache or a headache because I wore my contacts to bed, so I took 1000mg of aspirin with some Mountain Dew. I can tell it's going away, but not very fast.
I also woke up with a sore throat, itchy and scratchy. There are so many children being brought to the E.R. for colds and flus. We have to x-ray them all to be sure they don't have pneumonia. Most don't. But they almost all have runny noses, are coughing or sneezing, and not always quite clean.
I wonder why it is my immune system has been so bad this past year. I seem to catch everything that passes in front of me.
I guess I shouldn't complain too much. For most of the past 10 years working at the hospital, I have actually been very healthy.
I think that sometimes, things just go in waves. I was sick a lot more than I had wanted to be when I was younger. Then I was very healthy for about 10, and now the last year and a half I'm sick again most of the time.
I think it's probably just about time to look at my diet. I always chide others about theirs; telling them not to eat too much of certain things, and more of other things. I guess I need to take my own advice. I don't believe in taking vitamins, because you can get everything you need if you eat the proper foods in the proper amounts. Most people take vitamins thinking they're a cure-all, and still continue with their bad eating habits.
Exercise! I've taken out my roller blades. I'm going to start skating again. I still need to go shopping to see if they make ice blades that can be attached to roller blade boots. I wouldn't mind ice-skating, I don't think.
