The guy was able to get:
Yup, you guessed it, my digital camera with two extra batteries and two of the memory chips, with pictures I really don't want people like this to see.
They were also able to grab a bag of CDs, about 15 to 20 of them.
I knew I should've brought the CDs into the house tonight before going to work. And I had that weird feeling about taking my camera back out to the truck when I went to lunch.
What's worse is is that security had stopped a guy who looked suspicious just 45 minutes before I got off work. At least they had a description of the guy to give to the police. He had been seen by one of the visitors to one of our patients looking into the truck in front of mine. They had caught him with the lunch box that he had taken from that one. He must've not gotten to my truck at that point.
Security said the guy was on foot, and that when they let him go, he walked away, but that doesn't mean he couldn't have turned around and come back from another street.
I'm not as angry as I thought I would be. I'm a little upset, especially because I had memory chips for the camera in there with pictures from Burning Man. -- ALL of my Burning Man pictures. Good thing they're already saved to disc... but there are some in there that I don't want people to see. I also had pictures in there that I hadn't yet saved to my computer.
