I worked from 11 'til 1:30 today, cutting and getting most of the stuff screwed and nailed down. Somehow, I'm missing one of my 4X4 joist supports. I have absolutely no idea where I could have misplaced that thing; they're cheap, so when I go to get the wood for my joists, I'll just get another one. As soon as I do that, then I'll find the other one. heh
When I get the 4X4 joists in, I'll take another couple of pictures, then start putting the 2X6 joists in. I'm getting ready to go to the store to get all that stuff now. I'll need to clean out the back of my truck first, because I'll be bringing home a lot of wood. All of it 12 feet long.
I'm going to try to work on everything the rest of the day... or at least 4 hours, whichever comes first. I'm already sunburned on my arms and neck where my T-shirt didn't cover me. I worked part of the day without it, too... so the rest of my back and abdomen could get some sun... but not long enough to burn anything there.
My hands are starting to get cut up, scraped, and beated. I do have gloves, but they don't fit quite right, and actually would cause more problems with where they wear on my skin than if I didn't wear them at all.
Anyhow... I need to go to the store, finish the frame, take a few pics, then get the rest of the joists, and hopefully the planks down and be done with it--except for painting it all with water sealer, of course.
