I still haven't gotten the kitten in the house yet. Tomorrow. Yes. He's going to be swatted something fierce by Patches. And she'll probably end up pissing on my bed out of jealousy and anger. But, after a month of hissing at the boy, she'll finally have him knowing that she is the queen of the house and he's just a kitten. She'll learn to tolerate him over time.
Cable to be completed tomorrow (I swear we have the laziest cable guys in the country).
Found more stuff unpacking boxes. Found manuals on some of my old 1200bps modems and a no-slot clock that I had for my Apple //c computer. Found school pictures of my sister when she was in kindergarten through about the 3rd grade. Found a book that teaches you how to program in assembly language for a TRS-80 computer. Found lots of manuals on software that even if I had the disks I couldn't run the software because it was for DOS and Windows 3.0 and 3.1. heh
I worked all night last night. Well, 'til about 5:30 this morning. It was slow, thankfully, but that makes time drag. I had to force myself to stay awake. But then, I get home, go straight to bed, and can't fall asleep for a couple of hours. Yuck! Woke up around 2 and got Patches (see topmost section of this post), then laid back down and fell asleep again. Woke up just in time to get ready for work. I was only 5 minutes late, as opposed to 10 minutes early.
I'm not really saying much here tonight, am I?
I need to go write-up a doctor for treating one of the clerks like shit. I don't know why some people think that just because they have the letters M.D. after their names that they can be assholes to others who don't. I am far more intelligent than a lot of doctors I have met. Just because I didn't go to medical school doesn't mean that they're smarter than I am. And it doesn't give them the right to treat me as if the clerk and I are idiots.
