(no subject)

I'm getting tired of all these bankruptsy commercials.
Whatever happened to the days when you just worked a little harder to pay off your debts?
If you can't make the minimum payments on your mortgage AND pay for you car AND your new 5000 inch TV AND and and and... then you are living beyond your means. Who's fault is that? Yours, you dipshit! You should be taking care of your own problems... don't get yourself a copout. If you don't need it, and can't afford it, don't get it. If you want it and can afford it, then that's a different story. If you need to borrow money to afford something, then that's fine too, as long as you can pay it back with the minimum payments required by the lender.
But don't go buying everything out there that makes you look richer than you are just to impress everyone around you, unless you're ready to work hard enough to earn that look. Get a second job if you have to. If that means no social life for a year or two, deal with it. Once you get the majority of your debt down, then you can start living like a playboy again.
