I'm on hold with MCI right now.
Last night, projectx called me collect, and we were on the phone for 78 minutes. She lives in Seattle, Washington, I live in Stockton, CA. MCI is telling me that the bill comes to $90 and they're worried they won't get paid.
I don't know what in the hell they're so worried about... I make plenty of money... they're going to get paid!

I just asked why they are doing this... apparently, because it has been so long since I've had a collect call at this high of cost. They just want to be sure that I, as the owner of the phone, was aware of last night's call. Well, for 78 minutes, I better be aware of it!

Maybe next time, I should have her call me with 1-800-C-A-L-L A-T-T, it's free for you, and cheap for them.

Time is going by too fast, today.
I have to be at work in an hour, and I just put my clothes in the dryer!!!
And I still need to make something to eat, take my shower, etc.
Guess it'll be cereal... it's the quickest... maybe some toast, too.

The word, ice, uses the long vowel sound for the I because of the silent E at its end.
The word, lice, is the same way, the I is long, and for the same reason, the E at the end tells us to pronounce these words the way we do.
So how come when we see the word, police, we pronounce the I like a long E? It, too, has a silent E at its end.

...things that make you go, hmmmmm...
