Just about finished playing Call of Duty 2 on the most difficult setting... fark it's hard holding back those Nazis... especially since the game was saved just before I get killed, and I'm trying to get away from a spot as quickly as I can so I don't keep getting grenaded or shot.

The only problem I really have with this game is that the people who created it didn't do their research a little better. In Europe, the ground floor isn't the first floor. I keep hearing the Germans saying that we (whatever squad I'm a part of) are on the first floor (ersten Stock) when we're on the ground floor. The first floor to them would be what we (Americans) consider the second floor, and that's not where we're hiding!
Oh well.

Or, more likely, they DID do the research, and didn't want anybody that DIDN'T know about that (as most people wouldn't) to get confused or think they had fucked up.

I doubt it.
Those of us who do speak a foreign language like German or French would learn this as part of the "culture" phase of learning a foreign language.

I'm just saying, most people don't know German.
